What is a block pump?
Block pumps are centrifugal pumps in which the pump and motor are connected to form a compact block unit with a shared shaft.
This reduces space requirements, simplifies alignment, and makes installation in systems with limited installation space significantly easier.
When should you choose a single-stage centrifugal pump, and when should you choose a two-stage centrifugal pump?
One single-stage centrifugal pump (e.g., NM series) operates with an impeller and is the standard solution for many applications with moderate delivery heads.
One two-stage centrifugal pump (e.g., NMD series) has two impellers arranged one behind the other and achieves significantly higher delivery heads with a similar flow rate.
