Stainless steel gear flange pumps

Stainless steel gear flange pumps are pump heads with a free shaft end designed for customer-supplied drives. They are used when a stainless steel gear pump is required, but the motor, gearbox, or drive is already in place or will be designed separately.

Linn-Pumpen offers the E/F and E/F-PEEK series for this purpose. The E/F series is designed for corrosive media that provide sufficient lubrication. The E/F-PEEK version is suitable for media that provide little to no lubrication, often of an aqueous nature.

E/F-PEEK or E/F – which version is right for you?

Series E/F-PEEK

For media with little to no lubrication.
The E/F-PEEK series combines a stainless steel housing with PEEK gears. It is recommended for applications involving the conveyance of aqueous, corrosive, or low-lubricity media.

Series E/F

For corrosive but sufficiently lubricating media.
The E/F series is a stainless steel gear flange pump with a stainless steel housing, shafts, and gears. It is suitable for applications where gray cast iron is not appropriate due to corrosion or material requirements, but the fluid provides sufficient minimum lubrication.

Important considerations when choosing

The key factors are the medium, lubricity, viscosity, temperature, pressure, seal, and installation conditions. For higher viscosities, the speed and drive must be designed accordingly.
